There’s always been a certain something special about Brazilian football, and even when it comes to clangers they somehow manage to pull them off with more panache, too. Brest goalie Gautieur Larsonneur started 2021 off in eccentric style as he almost scored what would have been one of the worst/best own goals ever to grace the #ICYMI archives. The standard for the rest of the year has been set high.
Nobody loves a long-range effort more than us at #ICYMI, and this from Dundee United’s Lawrence Shankland in their game against St Johnstone is an absolute cracker, and perfectly judged. Not bad for an equaliser in a 2-2 draw.
