Jacqui Forster Memorial Award: Shortlist announced!
Today we are delighted to reveal the eight supporters who’ve made the shortlist for the 2026 Jacqui Forster Memorial Award.
The award celebrates women across the country who make the biggest contributions to the supporters’ movement and this year we’ve received a record number of nominations.
Nicola Cave, FSA training and governance manager, said: “We’d like to thank everyone who took the time to send their nominations in.
“We’ve been overwhelmed with the response, the strength and depth of nominations is a testament to how far the supporter movement has come.
“It was an extremely tough task to pick a shortlist from all those nominations. We wish all the shortlisted candidates the best of luck as our judging panel will be deciding the winner for this year’s International Women’s Day.”
Jacqui Forster worked for Supporters Direct (SD) from 2003 until 2018, when she sadly passed away, following a long battle with cancer. SD was one of the forerunner organisations which eventually became the Football Supporters’ Association.
Now in its sixth year, this award was designed to celebrate and recognise women like Jacqui who give their spare time to promote the values and principles of the supporters trust movement.

- Carla Devine – Barnet FC Supporters’ Association
- Hilary Leam – RamsTrust
- Sarah Turner – Supporters Trust at Reading
- Bethany Clements Patrick – Sheffield Wednesday FC Women’s Supporter Group and Union 1908 (West Didsbury & Chorlton Supporters Club)
- Kiki Christofi and Hina Shafi – SupportHERS Collective
- Mandi Slater – Red Imps Community Trust
The winner will be selected by a panel of FSA National Council members and announced on our website on Monday 9th March.
