Networks election notice

Ahead of our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Friday 19th November, we will be conducting the process of electing representatives to our National Council.

The vacancies are for varying term lengths, to allow for some continuity within our National Council (so all spaces are not up for election at the same time). 

Terms are served from AGM to AGM, and so a one-year term will run until the 2022 AGM, while a three-year term will last until 2024’s AGM.

The network vacancies are as follows.

• Premier League – Neil Dady (Wolves 1877 Trust) and Dave Pennington (MUST) were elected for a three-year and two-year term respectively. 
• Championship – Roger Ellis (Sky Blue Trust) and Tony Wilkinson (Blackpool Supporters Trust) were elected for a three-year and two-year term respectively. 
• League One and Two – James Young (Robins Trust) and Ian Bridge (Bolton Wanderers Supporters Trust) were elected for a three-year and two-year term respectively. 
• National Game – Matthew Kempson (North Ferriby Supporters Club) was elected to a three year term.
• Community owned clubs – Tim Hillyer (AFC Wimbledon) and Martin Cantrell (Banbury United) were elected for a three-year and a two-year term respectively. 
• Fans for Diversity – Chris Paouros (Proud Lilywhites) was elected for a three-year term.
• Women’s Game – Rachel Major was elected for a three-year term.

Election Process

Nominations have now closed.  

Voting, where there are contested elections, will take place ahead of each network meeting, with those affiliates unable to be present being able to cast their ballot up to one week early. Only FSA affiliate groups are eligible to vote in the network elections.
