Non-League Day 2015 needs you!

This is a story from the FSF archive – the FSF and SD merged to become the FSA in 2019.

Non-League Day (NLD), the campaign to promote semi-professional and amateur football, is back and will run for a sixth consecutive season on Saturday 10th October 2015.

Last year saw some truly remarkable crowds turn out across the country, helped by unprecedented media coverage and backing from a wide range of football figures such as Chris Waddle.

Work has already started to ensure this year’s event builds on the record breaking success of 2014 – NLD has the full support of the FSF.

With the big day only two months away, the NLD team are giving fans across the country an exciting opportunity to get involved behind the scenes.

“After trialling the Regional Coordinator role last year and getting good results, we’ve decided to try and recruit more volunteers to help increase our reach throughout the country,” explains founder James Doe.

“The regional coordinators will hopefully allow the NLD team to keep across everything that’s going on at county level, using their local knowledge and expertise to build links with clubs and media outlets in the area to make sure everyone makes the most of the day.”
