Northwest Division AGM

This is a story from the FSF archive – the FSF and SD merged to become the FSA in 2019.

The AGM of the FSF’s Northwest and North Wales Division will take place at 2pm on Sunday 28th April at Hyde FC.

Topics for discussion include updates on FSF campaigns regarding ticket pricing, safe standing and policing and stewarding, as well as electing divisional officers for the coming year. If you have any questions, want to see the minutes from last year’s AGM, or are unable to attend, please contact Ian Lyon (FSF NWNW Divisional Secretary).  Entrance is open to all, however only FSF members have the right to vote on divisional matters.

Directions by Car

Hyde FC’s ground is Ewen Fields, Grange Road, Hyde, Cheshire, SK14 2SB – just off Junction 3 of the M67, click here for map.

Directions by Train/Bus

Newton (For Hyde) is the closest station to the ground. Trains depart Manchester Piccadilly every 30 minutes (destination Hadfield).

On arrival at Newton (For Hyde) station you need to cross under the tracks and walk down Castle Street to the main road (Commercial Brow/Halton Street). Turn left and walk over the motorway bridge (you will be able to see the floodlights ahead of you) and down the hill until you get to the traffic lights. Turn left onto Mottram Road and then first right onto Grange Road North, first right again leads you into Miles Street and the entrance to the football ground is at the end of the street. It is approximately 10 minutes walk to the ground from the station.
