Other than a last minute derby winner nothing gets a bigger cheer than a ref getting whacked by the ball. However, there’s also a little known sub-genre known as “ball hits commentator right on the noggin”. Check out this beaut of an example from German TV, especially noteworthy for the captured projection of the ball en route to commentator Jessica Kastrop’s head. Tragically a similar incident featuring another blond with girly hair was never captured on film.
