Safe Standing Roadshow – help wanted!

This is a story from the FSF archive – the FSF and SD merged to become the FSA in 2019.

The Safe Standing Roadshow is looking for volunteers as it visits the FA’s football HQ at St George’s Park (Burton). The FSF works closely with the Roadshow and it’s been instrumental in persuading clubs to back the Safe Standing Campaign.

  • Dates/times: Friday 12th July (12.30pm) and/or Saturday 13th July (7pm)
  • Volunteers: please email [email protected]

We’d love to hear from fans who are free on either of those dates. The Safe Standing Roadshow’s Jon Darch will also be able to pick you up from the station at Burton-upon-Trent if required. Parking spaces are available at St George’s Park for those who drive.

Setting up the Safe Standing Roadshow takes a little manual labour, that’s where you come in, and some heavy lifting is involved. Can you help? It’s a great chance to see the impressively sleek St George’s Park and support the Safe Standing Campaign.
