There’s always been a certain something special about Brazilian football, and even when it comes to clangers they somehow manage to pull them off with more panache, too. This passage of play from Corinthians versus São Paulo has a little bit of everything for the discerning #ICYMI devotee – a ludicrously over-confident goalkeeper coming a cropper, an outfield player falling over for no reason, and some ropey finishing, all topped off with that trademark excitable Brazilian commentary.

Finland’s women beat Scotland this week with a very dramatic late winner in the 95th minute from Amanda Rantanen. Making her debut for the national side, the 22-year forward was overcome with emotion and/or pain as her breakaway goal secured victory for Finland in the European Championship qualifier.
