Last month we were proud to work with the FA and the National Football Museum (NFM) to promote a display of the UEFA Women’s Euro trophy – and almost 2,000 Lionesses supporters visited to get a selfie with the trophy across two days.

FSA volunteers and museum visitors celebrated England’s 2022 historic tournament victory and looked forward to the 2025 Euros which kick-off in Switzerland on Wednesday 2nd July.

“It was a huge pleasure to work with the FA and NFM museum to ensure supporters got a chance to see the iconic Euro’s 2022 trophy,” said FSA Free Lionesses lead Deborah Dilworth.

“Being able to invite some of our core volunteers into a reception ahead of the open public display was a lovely way to reward some of the hard work being carried out by supporters across England.

“We now look forward to supporting our Lionesses all the way in Euros 2025.”

James Macdougall, head of corporate affairs at the FA, said: “It was great to work with the FSA and the National Football Museum to put the UEFA Women’s Euros trophy on display in Manchester – the location was particularly fitting as Manchester was where that successful 2022 campaign started.”

“It was fantastic that so many fans came to the museum to see the trophy and have their picture taken with it – we were delighted to be able to make it happen.”

Free Lionesses support at Euro 2025

England face France, Netherlands and Wales in Group D as they seek to defend their title and the FSA’s Free Lionesses team will be in Switzerland helping supporters on-the-ground.

Free Lionesses is also working with Wal Goch y Menywod (Wales Women’s Red Wall) supporters’ group on tournament plans. Watch this space.
