Please, please, please forgive us for referencing the Wayne Rooney scandal. Most fans we know, while obviously sympathising with his wife, don’t really care about what he gets up to in his private life and they certainly aren’t “outraged” like the tabloids would have us believe.
Nevertheless Chinese news agency NMA World International’s unique take on events tickled us. Especially the bit where Rooney misses the virtual barn door at the end.

Europe’s biggest clubs have been roundly criticised by their own supporters today over plans to expand the Champions League.
Football reform was once again up for debate in Parliament as a whole host of football figures appeared in front of the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee – including Kevin Miles, Chief Executive of the Football Supporters’ Association.
