What makes a good Supporter Liaison Officer?

This is a story from the FSF archive – the FSF and SD merged to become the FSA in 2019.

On the eve of the FSF Awards in partnership with Virgin Media 2018 we look back on some of last year’s winners – Wigan Athletic’s Ian Wadsworth and Jason Taylor who were jointly awarded the Supporter Liaison Officer of the Year 2017.

Here at the FSF we believe that a good SLO – or in this case two! – can make a real difference to your matchday. Ok, they can’t control what happens on the pitch, but they can influence the welcome you receive upon arrival, your experience in the stand, even the pie you eat…

Check out this Youtube video where Ian and Jason take you through their matchday routine.
