Fans for Diversity meet-up 2025: Line-up announced
The next big Fans for Diversity meet-up is taking place at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium next month (Friday 26th September) and we’re pleased to announce the full line-up for the day.
Supporter representatives from across the country, and all levels of the game, are invited to come along to discuss the big issues around the Fans for Diversity campaign.
We’ll be talking about the recent successes of the campaign as well as taking part in discussions around the wider challenges facing supporters across the game.
Additionally, we’ll also be celebrating the supporter groups that make our campaign tick with some special Fans for Diversity awards.
Fans for Diversity meet-up – full schedule
Through the turnstiles: 11.30am-12.30pm:
Arrival at the Emirates and registration
Dressing room chat and lunch: 12.30pm-1.30pm
Grab some food and chat with other fans
Team talk – opening session: 1.30pm-2.30pm
Our opening address will be from Fans for Diversity campaign managers Nilesh Chauhan and Hannah Kumari. We’ll also be hearing from guest speakers from our campaign and learning about success stories from the last 12 months.
We’ll also be splitting supporters up into three teams, with each being given coloured wristbands. Each team will take part in the home and away dugout (see below) as well as having the chance to do a short tour of the Emirates Stadium.
The Dugouts (home and away) – first half: 2.30pm-4pm
Home: Supporters are invited to our workshop session called “Best combination play between fan and clubs” lead by Dave Messenger, equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) lead at Watford and Gurpri Bains, EDI lead from Birmingham City.
Away: Fans can hear from Alan Bush, fan education manager at Kick it Out, about the work going on to rehabilitate supporters caught up in discriminatory behaviour in our “Tactical Play” session.
Half time: 4pm-4.15pm
Tea, coffee and biscuits
The Dugouts (home and away) – second half: 4.15pm-5pm
We will once again be running our two home and away dugout sessions from earlier in the day, giving delegates a chance to sit-in on both during the course of the event.
Extra time: 5pm-6pm
