Free Lions 172 – Guide to San Marino

England are back on the road this coming weekend as their World Cup qualifying campaign continues – this time against the small nation state of San Marino.

We’re getting back into the swing of hosting fans’ embassies at England away games and we’ll have a Free Lions team heading out to San Marino to assist supporters making the trip.

Subject to securing official permission from local authorities in Rimini, our Fans’ Embassy will be operating in the popular Italian resort town on the afternoon of Sunday 14th November, and from 10am until 4pm on Monday 15th November (matchday).

We will be based in Piazza Marvelli, round the corner from the Rose and Crown.

In the meantime, keep up to date by following Free Lions on Twitter @WeAreFreeLions and the Free Lions Facebook page.

Free Lions 172 includes:

  • Fright of their lives: Clive Hetherington remembers that famous San Marino goal against England
  • Welcome to San Marino: A guide to the picturesque microstate
  • Stadio Olimpico Serravalle: A closer look at our venue & how to get there
  • In memory of Roger Hunt: Clive Hetherington pays tribute to the Liverpool & England legend
